But anyway, yes, even if you can physically recline immediately, it's basically ignoring the crew's instructions so maybe a bit frowned upon... although I've never seen anyone called out for doing it.
Well, I guess it would depend on each of our interpretations of what "takeoff" means, to me, "takeoff" usually ends as soon as we've achieved a positive climb rate and the gears have been pulled up. The rest of that is "climb" to me...
Or is it when we've been handed off from Tower to TRACON?
