YUL Airport Hertz After-Hours

I'm reading the YUL Airport has operating hours 6:00-0:30 but also has special services:

After hours drop off available
After hours pick up available

Two questions for anyone with experience with Hertz (as gold) at this location:
a - my flight is scheduled to arrive 15 minutes prior to 0:30 and with a flight delay I would have no method of notifying the rental agency I will make it but not ontime. I am not sure how diligent they are checking scheduled flight arrival from the reservation.
b - anyone experience with after-hours pickup and how it works? Does it require advance notification or simply use a different counter or phone number? Is there a shuttle at this location as I assume I would have to take a cab?
