Okay, I am prompted to add a few of my own experiences, in no particular order:

- Living in Henry VIII's Hampton Court Palace for 5 days (Nov. 1998);

- Staying in Castillo Santa Catalina, Jaen (11th Century), Castillo Oropesa (1300's), and seeing Don Quixote's now-500 year old windmills in La Mancha (all July 2000);

- Seeing the view from the tops of Mauna Kea, Hawaii (1985) and Haleakala, Maui (1997):

- Malcolm Miller's tour of Chartres cathedral (several times);

- Traipsing through a field of preserved dinosaur footprints near Tuba City, Arizona, after seeing the Grand Canyon (1996);

-Whale watching in Zodiac boat off the coast of Tofino, British Columbia (1997); and

- Being able to share many enjoyable vacations to great places with my wife and kids.
