Same route twice in a day = single auto-credit?

Query and possibly a bit of a warning for TP runners...

To get the 4 eligible flights topped up so that some TATL and TCON miles would tip a tier bump I did a pair of back-to-backs / turnarounds on the same route on the same day: LON-XXX-LON / LON-XXX-LON.

Only one auto-posted, although the second was quickly investigated and added afterwards. While it all worked through in the end the extra week or so delay could dent someone's expectation of doing similar to get status before a specific upcoming trip.

I'm sure I've read of things like double trips to JER / AMS / etc to grab ~100TP in a day, but never seen any warning on this. So, is initial single-credit always the case?
