Meals are usually served from the front to the back, in my experience. However, my most recent trip the experience was different in that the CSM personally greeted me (I assume because I'm platinum) in row 2 and a couple in row 3. Came meal time I was served first then the aforementioned couple. I actually felt a bit embarrassed to be treated preferentially and it usually doesn't make any differerence if I'm greeted as a platinum.

Never denied any meal choices in J because they ran out either. Beers in the past few months had been Heineken, Fifty Lashes and Boag light.
