Alternately, you can apply for any one of these free cards, link to the same Membership Rewards account, and order Supplementary Cards for others. It makes no difference if you (or they) ever use the cards, they need only to exist:

  • Blue for Business
  • Everyday
  • Blue from American Express

There are good reasons to have a Blue for Business or Everyday card, but Blue from American Express is a deadend.
