I've managed this just once in >20 visits. And that was because for once I was prepared to wait over 2.5 hours for the first available slot.

I'd rather presumed it was because I tend to arrive come in on a flight from the US or JNB which arrives after the early birds from Asia, so this morning, after a 4:50 arrival from HKG I headed for the lounge to ask for an appointment only to be told they don't start till 6am (and you can't even book an appointment until then).

It's now become a bit of a research pastime. I do think that if you offer a benefit to customers, there should be a fighting chance of actually getting it. Perhaps I would do better spending the time buying a lottery ticket instead?
