Certainly you are entitled to your opinion but I gotta say any one of the other 3 factors would - in and of itself - trump breakfast and coffee for me. Breakfast (and coffee) is something I can usually buy anywhere (excepting a few African countries I visit, but certainly in the US) - but a good night's sleep before a jam-packed work day is priceless, as are points that buy me top tier rooms.

I think the key difference here is that, for the OP, HGI meets all of the minimum standards and Hyatt does not. It is apparent that for them, "good" is good enough, so Hyatt being "very good" on these other measures does not add enough additional value to overcome the area that does not meet minimum standard. I would have to assume that if they could not get a good night's sleep in the HGI, they would not rate it "good" and would not prefer it.
