You've made some very good points and BA Y isn't all bad as it's portrayed out to be at times.

However, an economy seat on any airline isn't a magical experience but it's definitely more bearable on newer aircraft especially with the Thales IFE, thinner seats etc.

More ex DUB flights looks like the way forward for me in WTP which is the same price as an ex UK economy ticket most of the time (opening up the possibility to upgrade to business class)
