This. YOU CANNOT SHARE AN ACCOUNT. Also, in case you're not aware, your wife is a separate person. You both cannot stay together in a single room, nor is her staying at a hotel the same as your staying at the hotel. Staying oneself means exactly what it says: YOU stay and not some other person, even if the other person is your spouse.
