NO, airlines generally don't hold flights for you, although they may delay the flight when doing so doesn't have negative impacts on their operations.

They also don't generally walk you to your seat in FC unless you're a special VIP or you're traveling on some foreign carrier with very high standards of service. In domestic FC, it won't happen.
