How easy is it to negotiate alternative flights after a sked change when ticketed through an OTA (Expedia)? Anyone have success stories to report along such lines?
I'm assuming that AC did observe their own minimum connection times when the sked change occurred. Also, I don't think they will be receptive to your change request due to an equipment change - for free anyway.
I did call AC Reservations once to request a fare class change to a ticket I booked through Expedia. They were able to "takeover" the ticket from Expedia and make the changes, so you should be able to call Air Canada versus Expedia.
