When I changed a flight recently I printed the new e-ticket receipt and there was a box with red text stating "Total new payment GBP 35.00". This was for an RFS booking but it seems strange that such a statement would appear in some cases but not others.

The ticket numbers for the changed and original flights are different too so clearly there is not something to do with a discrepancy between revalidation/reissue.
