Thanks for everyone's comments. I actually have Verizon as my primary phone with an ATT mobile hotspot and have been having lots of problems with Verizon in both large and small cities (and recently upgraded my iphone) while ATT usually has plenty of data service. In Austin, of all places, for example, I had no Verizon service and had to use Skype via my hotspot to make a call!

I like the idea of having redundancy so I guess will consider keeping the current configuration.
