* I mean, that's what Flyertalk is for, right? Not to have to fly in economy?
Yes, it's a good seat for Y. 3 class 777's also have similar seats too ^
I'd disagree with you re FT is just for not having to fly in economy. It's for everyone and the knowledge, especially here is pricelsss.
Many do travel Y for work as it's their company travel policy. For non work travel some good deals can be had in economy which, for me personally is fine to travel in although some on here think Lord Voldemort and his entourage full of
Dementors live there.
Yes there are quite a few who can afford to fly CW/F etc but I'm not one of them although I will splash out now and again or UuA from WT+. However, I will do my best not to fly Y but if it's a choice of not going somewhere because I won't pay for CW etc then Y or W it is!
There is far too much focus at times, especially on the BA Board, with J and F and it would be good to read more about folks experiences from Economy and World Traveller Plus, some of whom I suspect are put off or perhaps feel intimidated as they are Blue, only travel Y etc. That's my gut feeling after 8 years on here and 2 lurking beforehand.
May I add I have met many, many folks who are FT's here and they are in the main very nice genuine, normal folks so I don't mean anything personally by referring to those who fly J or F, some of whom are now friends.
It's on my to do list to freshen up this thread and make ot a bit more comprehensive but it's a work in progress.
Finally, as this is the World Traveller thread........... most FTr's here won't read it anyway!!
