UK roads simply aren't compatible with larger campervans - everything from overhanging branches to errant posts that you can't see when reversing WILL get the better of the van.
We always take out extra insurance for those unexpected little happenings. Which is just as well as it's saved us a good few quid over the years. Incidents while driving cars have included reversing into an invisible metal pole, hitting a hidden boulder in a grass verge at speed which resulted in a wrecked tyre as well as breaking late and colliding head on with Cheddar Gorge.....thankfully we were only doing 5mph at the time. None of which were ''my fault'' according to her.
So you have good reason to highlight as to how she'll cope behind the wheel of a campervan.
