Extremely rare to get email reply from the hotels I usually stay at here in ASEAN. So I have given up on emailing them.
Depends... over the 4 year living in SEA I had just ONE case when hotel did not response. And these hotels were all over the countries.
I try to find different ways to communicate with reservations. This days they much faster respond to facebook and whatsapp messages than to emails.
