Yeah you're right, it looks like I buried the question in the second paragraph sorry about that. My main question has to do with the fact that there are two diamond lounges in Brussels airport.

The international lounge has a shower and the Schengen zone lounge does not.

When I get off the plane I will be arriving at the international lounge from ORD. I'm not sure if I have to go to the luggage area and pick up my bags at which point I don't believe I can get back into the international area as I will be outbound to Venice five hours later.
