Just checked with Delta, and if available, it will ben no problem to upgrade cash+FB miles in AMS on DoD. With 16 available seats at this point, I am still hopefull.

The flight back from JFK-AMS will probably be more of a problem, as I am on a V-fare and upgrading will be quite costly I guess...
