Unique opportunity presents itself. Cruising Greek Islands for 7 days in June 04. At end of cruise am able to go ANYWHERE in that region during 6 days. Thinking of Istanbul as base (travel tips for this area?) and possibly traveling to Petra (in Jordan) and Pyramids in Egypt. Travel from Istanbul will be on private plane (guess we will not be collecting miles, but we all must sacrifice something ). You guys have been EVERYWHERE, where should we go? 22 total in our group - 10 adults, 12 children (ages 8-19). Any thoughts or advice greatly appreciated.
