We've got a 2 week old and are trying to figure out where to go. Hotels with infants seem to require thinking about all sorts of extra things which we wouldn't normally think about (e.g. thinking about a week in Amanzoe in May / June - but worried about (a) it being too hot and (b) the pools being a danger. Or thinking about NZ in Dec but then Blanket Bay which we love doesn't take infants.)

I'm specifically interested in hearing where other people have been with infants where the whole experience has worked well. I'm generally keen to hear cool ideas but to provide some focus for this discussion there are 3 areas which I'm interested in (though could be convinced of other ideas.)

1- Europe in May / June (i.e. 4-5 months)
2- A direct (possibly LH) flight from London in Sept/Oct (i.e. 8-9 months)
3- Asia and Australasia in Dec (11 months)

I have had a google and the best I've found on this forum has been infants to very specific places - but open to being told that I've missed a thread on this topic already. And Mods, I figured it made sense for this to go here rather than the infants and children forum given that a fair number of the inhabitants of this forum are likely to have a view..
