Hrmm ok now I'm getting slightly worried for my other trip in May.
I arrive PVG on AA127 at 2:55pm and need to catch the 1:00am flight at HKG (CX). I currently have the following flights available on KA/CX to choose for PVG-HKG leg on separate ticket. I'm hoping to catch 4:30 or will that be too short?
3:25 4:30 5:40 6:35 7:00 7:40 8:30
Some of the most recent delays in the last few days have been 6, 7, and 8 hours between PVG-HKG and v.v. This is slightly unusual, although not unheard of.
More usual to have rolling delays of between 1-3 hours depending on the time of day (getting worse from midday onwards).
I would think 2.55pm arrival into PVG is cutting it fine for the 4.30pm flight. I'd take the 5.40pm and anticipate a worst case scenario that you will be on your way (take-off) by 9pm, arriving HKG around 1130pm-midnight.
