So is the $59 fare an attempt by DL to beat out AS by $3 which is ALMOST matching on some days with $62....not sure why they don't go with a $59 DL match. I'm guessing the recent PDX-LAX fare war is sparked by Spirit's entrance into the market with $38/$44 dollar fares that neither DL nor AS seem to be matching (no surprise there).
