I have stayed many times at an alumni club in Boston. While it is not luxurious, it is pretty close. Lobby is clublike, naturally, huge fireplace, leather wing chairs. Rooms are very nicely done, with many antique pieces. The location is superb. Dining room quiet and filled with flowers, good linen, all that stuff. Price reasonable, it's a lot like where you would like to live.
