In China, afaik its more important at what time the flight is, than what it's length is. Usually flights "in" in the mealtimes will have food, quite OK food actually, even in Y most of the times, while flights outside of mealtimes have often just peanuts or similar little offerings. Never had an F flight totally without food, though.

I would suggest you grab one of those instant noodle pots in the lounge, just to be safe... (plus, in case you don't need it, you can always use it later )
