I know this airport well. Show up 1 hour before flight takes off, not before it boards. There are not any lines. If you want a bite to eat, Scotty Browns inside security has some great food. It is a great little airport, I'm fortunate that all my flights start here
I've never flown Allegiant so I can't speak to that. I believe AS has cancelled a few flights but nothing out of the ordinary... seems to keep their core service.
