Am travelling EI BOS to DUB to avail of flat bed sleeping time en route - (best use of flight time in my opinion) even though it means a connecting flight from YYZ to BOS it's still faster, and cheaper than the alternative YYZ-LHR-DUB on BA. And less of a connection nightmare because both YYZ and DUB have US pre-clearance, and I have a trusted traveller card to get through that quite quickly.
I asked Aer Lingus if they had any plans to upgrade the business cabin on the 757 they use on the YYZ-DUB route - here is what they replied:
Dear TOOTHPICK:
Thank you for your form submitted online.
While our Business Class Cabin (757) is scheduled to have the seats upgraded during the winter months, we do not have an exact date when this might happen.
