I sat and slept in these seats on a couple of 8 hour flights. I found the downstairs cabin felt a little tight, but upstairs was much better. I'm 6'3" and the bed is long enough, but narrow. For a daytime flight, I'd prefer traditional business class seats, but for an overnight I'd prefer the BA flat seat. The facing seats arrangement is a little strange feeling, but the privacy screen does the trick.
