As I handed it over I saw an airport police officer and asked him to come over to watch them. I then went on telling the officer how TSA agents have been known to steal things from bags and didn't want that to happen to me. He was a good sport and agreed that it happens more than people think. While the TSA was looking through my backpack they called for first class so I berated them for making me miss my boarding zone. I kept a civil tone the entire time but I wanted to let them know that I didn't appreciate what they were doing.

I'm going to venture a guess that those TSA agents didn't want to be doing random checks at the gate anymore than you wanted them going through your bag. The fact you berated them for doing their job is ridiculous. Perhaps if you didn't have such a smug attitude you might not get randomly selected next time. What an inconvenience to board with SKY as opposed to PREM!
