Back in the days when the Sheraton Skyline (LHR) was a fairly decent hotel, I was staying there. One day, I took a short walk, and on my return to the hotel, the front was filled with assorted cars and vast numbers of African folk (based not just on skin color, but on accent) in military uniforms. These were your classic banana republic (the type of country, not the store) uniforms -- lots of epaulets, medals, etc.

I asked one of the bellman who they were. He pointed to the one member of the party in a suit. "He's the prime minister," the bellman said, "but we're not sure what country they are from."
