I was part of the Junior Statesman of America (JSA) in high school five years ago, and your description is pretty accurate. We'd have conventions three times a year that disintegrated into drunken orgies at night, despite strict prohibitions against people of the opposite sex in each other's rooms. The future politicos certainly seemed to screw and drink more than most other students. The group included many children of politicos, Calvin Klein's nephew, and children of other wealthy folks.
I remember one 15 or 16 year-old girl telling me, "I'm not going to sleep until I get some ...." One of my roommates took care of her "problem," though his girlfriend heard about it the next week. Ah, the good old days.
