Does anyone know when you book a trans tasman 'seat only' fare and then apply for a short haul elite upgrade to business (R class), whether you pick up the std business class baggage allowance, or whether you stay with the 'no baggage' allowance of the original seat only product?

Any references to AirNZ T+C's on this point gratefully appreciated.
