I held a meeting here and had a two night stay this week. The renovation is a major, major improvement in the overall appearance of the property. It's a bit above your typical smoke-and-mirrors hotel renovation, although the elevators are downright scary, abrupt and jumpy and were probably value-engineered out.

In general, the common areas and rooms were totally rehabbed with all new finishes. The tubs were removed and nice showers installed instead. Overall, nicely done.

My only complaint, and this is a big one, is that they are following the silly trend of removing desks from the rooms. The front desk told me that the ONLY desks remaining on the property are in the suites, and if you want one, you're gonna pay! I predict they reverse course on this within a few months...especially since the hotel is in a business park.
