Question. Departing Malaga Airport (AGP) via Iberia. Arriving in Madrid (MAD) and boarding an American flight for DFW.
Separate record locators. Looks like I'll arrive in T4 and will depart for DFW from T4S.
Approx. 45 minute time between flights. Do you have to go through security or passport control again? Is it feasible?

if your arrival flight is on time. Hopefully it is. But what if it's 50 minutes late?
Why separate record locators? American and Iberia are partners in the oneworld alliance. Can't you get them to "link" the record locators so that American is aware that you're arriving on the Iberia flight, and Iberia is aware that your'e continuing on the American flight, so that in case of a delay they'll hopefully handle it for you instead of you being totally out on your own.
And I presume you're travelling with carry-on (cabin) baggage only?
