Well...

United is in Chapter 11 bankruptcy and are forecasting they'll come out of it 2004, second quarter (they were originally thinking this year's fourth quarter). American almost filed but didn't and recently some stock trading firm repeated their "buy" rating for AMR Corp. AFAIK, Delta hasn't been close to these things but I'd only choose Delta if it was in any way cheaper, they were offering better flight times/schedules, better planes, or, I was a member of Delta SkyMiles and for whatever reason, felt they were a better choice than AAdvantage or even MileagePlus, also a better program. It doesn't seem like to me anyone who matters is even close to liquidation (chapter 7 bankruptcy).
