I had a confirmed upgraded seat on UA1158 LAX-HNL on Tuesday.
There was an equipment change without any notice and I was moved from 1A to 20F. I saw it on the Internet 5houres before the flight just because I couldn't sleep. After the third attempt I got an good agent at the 1K-line and she found a flight LAX-SFO-HNL with upgradespace available and booked me in (but the flight was earlier so I had to hurry). I stayed at the SheratonLAX so I made it in time to the airport and finally get on the plane.
I send an e-mail to the 1Kvoice about the lack in information and received 6250miles.
