This may have something to do with Starwood moving the St Regis' opening date from April 1, 2016 to January 1, 2019 on their master directory. I thought that was funny because I saw the what-was-to-be St Regos tower under construction during a visit to Jakarta in November 2015 and it looked much closer to completion than 2019. You don't reckon they switched sites with Four Seasons, do you? The old FS closed a few years ago for a total gut renovation and was expected to reopen something like three years later...

Either way, since The St Regis Jakarta is still listed on Starwood's sites with a new opening date, I'm sure something will be announced soon.
