Radisson Portman Blu London. emailed me before arrival...

Thank you very much for your reservations.

As per company policy, we need to know the details of the person who booked the rooms for you.

Confirmation numbers: xxx

We kindly ask you to provide the following information:

· The name of the person who made the reservation

· The hotel where he/she is working

· The position of the person who made the reservation.

I emailed back terms and conditions and they replied...

Thank you very much for your reply.

Please note that we are asking booker details a few days before your arrival in order to allow your check-in to be faster and more efficient.

However, if you prefer to be asked these information at your check-in by receptionists, it is completely fine.

Please note that if receptionists can not verify booker information, the best available rate will apply for your stay.

Needless to say I was asked for the details at check-in which I gladly provided.
This is a lovely hotel with super friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast, very close to Marble arch. I have a good friend who works for Radisson group and have used this code many times and have been asked for these details more often now. However I am not sure if it is followed up as my friend has never been contacted in her work to verify me...
