Will be staying at a resort where the hotel charges a 15% service charge in addition to the room rate and taxes. Doesn't seem to be a resort charge which typically covers access to the gym and other activities.
I know its debatable where this really goes, but how do you handle it? Do you you still leave tips for housekeeping? Bellmen? Towel service at the pool?
Thanks
Not debatable at all - it goes straight to the profit line on the hotel's books.
