I needed 35,000 RDMs to complete an award purchase. I have three outstanding bookings from which I can purchase. (All at 2.1¢, by the by.) The booking with the most miles offered was for 18,000, well short of my need. However, 18k is conveniently just over half of 35k. This happenstance gave me an idea.

Just to see if I could do it, I bought RDMs twice on the same booking. As most of you know, once a purchase is made, the purchase option is removed. However, I was able to circumvent that restriction by simultaneously making my purchase on two browsers. Worked like a charm.

Now, admittedly, this feat is of limited utility because anyone could simply create a second booking and achieve the same result. But if you're not of a mind to do that and/or you just happen to need twice the maximum offer on a particular booking, my method should work for you.
