i was awarded platinum status in September 2012 after flying extreamly frequently and to be honest what a disappointment , ok ive had the trolley dolly sometimes come up to me when first boarding to give me some nice pleasantries , you get access to some first class lounges which are also nice but thats about it ! the benifits on thai air are PANTS! no wonder they havnt shown a profit for years Gold status is fine you dont get much more being as they say elite !
