Aubie -- there are gas stations out by Dulles. However, if you are driving the dedicated highway from the Beltway (I-495) to IAD, called the Dulles Access Road, you have to drive all the way to IAD, then take the LOCAL exit from the airport (I think it is Route 28). There are several, usually overpriced stations around there.
A big hassle. Give yourself an extra 30-40minutes for that little production.
