That's not bad and would be useful for SFO to YVR for a long-weekend, but the costs still don't make much sense unless it were a trip we'd otherwise have planned for, once you factor in the additional booking and return fare.

As mentioned, I get fully comped for our SFO-YUL route, so the award booking wouldn't be as useful.

I suppose I'll just hang on to the points for now, in the off chance that we eventually have a winter trip to Banff or a weekend in BC planned.
