AC Foundation Every Bit Counts program - do they still do it?

This is the program where you can donate spare change that AC gives to charity. I always thought it was a great way to get rid of small change for places you might not go back to for a while, but I generally go to US/UK/Euro-zone countries where I just hold on to my change for next time.

Recently I was touring the Nordic countries in Europe and had a few kronor (of various varieties) left over and asked on my FRA-YYC if they would take them. I was told that they had discontinued that program months ago.

Yet on my YYC-IAH today, one of the IFE ads was promoting that program. The AC Foundation website still lists it.

So, which is it?
