I'm looking for recommendations for hotels/B&B's and restaurants for a weekend in Carmel or Monterey. It will be my first time in that area. I have already gleaned a couple of ideas from 2-3 year old FT threads, but was wondering if anyone had any recent experiences...

Edited to add: Our budget is anywhere up to about $175/nt for the room (which seems to be about what most B&B's run in the summer). Restaurant can be anything that allows business casual dress.
