I've just played with the FQTS function in Amadeus and it seems to be free format/not validated against the profile. Here's what Amadeus Help has:

TO CREATE A MANUAL SSR ELEMENT TO BE RECOGNIZED AS A FREQUENT
TRAVELLER ON ONE AIRLINE (TO OBTAIN SERVICE BENEFITS), WHILE
ACCRUING MILES ON ANOTHER, THE FOLLOWING SSR SHOULD BE SENT TO
THE AIRLINE FROM WHICH THE SERVICE BENEFIT IS BEING CLAIMED:

IN THIS CASE, AN FQTV ELEMENT SHOULD STILL BE SENT TO THE
AIRLINE ON WHICH MILEAGE IS BEING ACCRUED.

The free-flow text suggests that someone could type that you're super-duper diamond status and it'd mean nothing. It's more of an FYI - I don't think it will validate Emerald/Sapphire/Ruby status unfortunately.
