Just returned from my LHR-MIA and MIA-LHR trip.

Summary:

51J & K outbound (Upper Deck - Day Flight)
11E & F inbound (Lower Deck - Night Flight)

All I can say is both pairs of seats were flipping brilliant (especially 11E & F on the night flight - it was almost like being in a small private cabin)

Honestly, I couldn't have had a better experience on either leg; the level of professionalism and service level shown by every member of staff was without fault.

Escorted to our seats on both legs; Flight Service Manager (I think that was his title - definately the senior member of the cabin crew) introduced himself and had a brief chat with us on the outbound flight. Had it noted on his iPad that we were first-timers too.

Food & Drink service was faultless. Seats & IFE were excellent. (flat bed was super - watched Ted 2 on the way out...very naughty film btw )

Slept like a baby on the return flight; the inside pair on the lower deck is perfect for a couple.

I simply can't wait to experince First later this year; we're treating some friends to LHR-YYZ and JFK-LHR in the autumn.
