bad things can happen anywhere & delhi has been in the news for such unfortunate instances but in general delhi is perfectly safe....i have friends & family visiting all the time....some of them are solo female travelers & they have never had a problem....

you would have more than enough time....when in february is your flight????delhi does get affected by fog in the month of february but it should clear up by the middle of the month....
also, try to stick to either air india or jet since that way you won't have to change terminals after your international flight....
