Yeah, different countries undoubtedly have different rules to protect consumers (or airlines) against cancellation/delay. But if you book with the credit card that gives you protection, you really dont have to deal with vouchers or what not... I have a card that covers $500 of expenses if my flight/luggage gets delayed 3 hrs/cancelled (or more if it gets lost). I think this would be pretty handy when it comes to flying with LCC's.
