Wow that just seems crazy - I guess they figure if you miss it there are other flights to rebook you?
I recently had 75 mins on a BA flight connection to LHR via MAN and called BA to query it - I had to get on a bus (intl to domestic), go thru another security check and call the immigration guy - thankfully it was early, I was flying biz and first off and no lines and I was ok but I wasn't thrilled at the stress of the tight connection. Had I had any queues or been in coach it would have been different story - I would have missed connection -

I know BA flies this route direct and AA might do it via PHL or CLT if the price difference lessens the stress of the connection
